Jazeera Airways held its Top 25 Agents Awards recognition ceremony in Sri Lanka to felicitate their top passenger agents for 2024. The awards were to acknowledge their contributions to the airline’s success in the region. The event was hosted by Jazeera Airways and Royal Spence Aviation (Pvt) Ltd – GSA for Sri Lanka. The awards were to also honor agents for their continued support and highlighted the airline’s strong partnership within the travel industry.
The awards ceremony, was held at the Diamond Room of Aiken Spence Head Office, Colombo, recently, this event was graced by the presence of Mr. Reyhan Wanniappa – Director General, Civil Aviation Authority, Mr. Ishara Gunawardana – Manager, Air Services and Traffic Rights Civil Aviation Authority, Dr. Sumith De Silva – Head of Marketing, Airport and Aviation Services Mr. Suranga Ratnayake – Chief Operating Officer, Aitken Spence Travels & Mr. Prasanna Wijetunga – Manager, Jazeera Airways – Sri Lanka of Royal Spence Aviation
The chief guest Mr. Reyhan Wanniappa was accompanied by Mr. Suranga Ratnayake along with Mr. Prasanna Wijetunga to present the well-deserved awards to the top supporting agents and celebrating their long-standing partnerships.
Jazeera Airways, connecting to 59 destinations across Middle East, Europe, Asia, Russia from its hub at Kuwait International Airport, operates daily flights from Sri Lanka to Kuwait . Jazeera Airways commenced operations to Colombo in February 2021 with two weekly services. The airline utilizes a state-of-the-art Airbus 321NEO aircraft with 174 Economy class seats.
